BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – April 28, 2017 – Adams Diversified Equity Fund (NYSE: ADX) announced that Jeffrey R. Schollaert has been elected Vice President-Research, effective April 21, 2017.

Mr. Schollaert joined Adams Diversified Equity Fund in September 2015 as a senior equity analyst covering the financials and REIT sectors. Prior to joining the Fund, Mr. Schollaert worked at Wilmington Trust as a senior equity analyst and co-portfolio manager. His past experience also includes being a founding member of a financials-dedicated hedge fund at American Capital Strategies and a senior sell-side analyst at Wachovia Securities. “This is a well-deserved promotion for Jeff. He is a key contributor to the Fund. Jeff has a deep knowledge of financials and REITS and works well with our team to identify high-quality investments,” said Mark E. Stoeckle, CEO of the Fund.

Mr. Schollaert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Colgate University, as well as an MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
